Visa Eligibility: no - Ascension Saint Mary's Hospital is a level II adult and pediatric trauma center with da Vinci Robot.
- Excellent opportunity to enjoy Bread and Butter General Surgery with Trauma at one hospital & one clinic location.
- Candidates with 3 years or more of practice strongly preferred
- Call is shared within the group; 8 days per month
- Access to da Vinci robot
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

Ascension Illinois is looking for an experienced Genearl Surgeon for our practice in Kankakee, IL.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Medical Group to provide medical services to patients.
