    Description


    Successful candidate will possess capability to work independently in order to complete the majority of projects managed, from proposal to close out, with limited assistance from a Senior Engineer or Director.

    Job SummaryAssist with production of projectsSurvey existing systemsSupport the electrical and lighting design of systems from various projects-including power systems, lighting, fire alarm and other signal systemsDevelop calculations using engineering formulas and skills for design such as lighting calculations, power distribution calculations, and equipment sizingDevelop one-line diagrams or branch circuitryProvide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by draftersResearch design options, code issues and ask general questions of code officials and document findings for Project Designer/EngineerPerform construction administration and field investigation tasks for lighting, power and fire alarm systemsEnsure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production and design standardsKeep Project Manager/ Sr.

    Engineer informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional servicesAttend project meetings and site visitsQualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similarEquivalent of 3-6 years of relevant professional experienceRevit experience preferred, high proficiency in AutoCADComprehensive understanding of applicable design and building codes
