    We have an opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Golden Valley, MN. You will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of various financial related reports, primarily related to payroll, benefits, accounts payable, and/or pre-paids/amortizations. This is an excellent role for a critical thinker with strong Microsoft Excel skills looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within a highly collaborative and development-focused corporate environment

    ** You will work a hybrid work schedule with 3 days/week on-site in Golden Valley, MN. **

    You will:
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting and reconciliation of various transactions in balance sheet accounts to the general ledger on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities across multiple tasks in the accounting/finance process.
    • Develop, recommend for approval, implement, monitor, and maintain and distribute accounting plans, procedures, and policies.
    • Provide proactive analysis, forecasting, and support to finance leadership.
    • Ensure that relevant internal control requirements are met and comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
    • Ensure that the company meets or exceed Federal, State, and Local governmental laws, ordinances, and regulations in all areas of responsibility.
    Key Qualifications:
    • Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree in Accounting.
    • Have 1+ years of professional accounting experience - public/corporate experience a plus.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
    • Experience utilizing a large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.).
    • Analytical mindset and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from finance leadership.
