- On-site investigation of underground and aerial cable plant damages
- Understanding and application of State Dig Laws, Statutes, excavator requirements, NESC standards
- Building professional relationships with the client, their contractors, technicians, and management team
- Collaboration with the client's locate company to exchange investigation information
- Conducting interviews at damage sites with relevant parties
- Documenting and processing damaged scenes for liability determination
- Coordinating with the client and contractors to assess and detail repair costs
- Compiling investigation material and submitting it to the local office
- Providing support to the Claims Recovery team post-investigation
- Maintaining market reporting, leading client meetings, and being available for damage calls
- Reliable and presentable vehicle with a valid driver's license and insurance
- Strong customer service abilities in written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Previous experience in investigations
- Knowledge of the cable or utility locate industry
- Prior telephone industry experience is a plus
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Background in law enforcement or investigation is advantageous
- Claims background is also beneficial
- $48K-$52K per year
