    LightspeedDMS LLC has an immediate opening available for a Sr. Revenue Accountant .

    We are looking for a detailed-oriented, self-driven, and highly motivated individual with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.

    This is a multi-disciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take on numerous responsibilities through the quote to cash cycle.

    The role will report directly to the Director of Accounting and is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for accounting to advance their career within a high-growth PE-owned SaaS company.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Play a key role in our period-end close process, focusing on accounts receivable and revenue
    Prepare and analyze journal entries in accordance with US GAAP including deferred and accrued revenue postings
    Maintain account reconciliations related to AR, contract assets/liabilities, and deferred revenues, ensuring adherence to close timelines
    Analyze and interpret complex customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
    Provide support for periodic Standalone Selling Price (SSP) analyses.
    Perform technical accounting research and maintain documentation supporting revenue recognition conclusions
    Support cash application team
    Manage and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Accounts Receivable subledger, including aging buckets
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including billing/accounts receivable, sales, operations, IT including during contract negotiations to provide suggestions and assistance in revenue recognition optimization and to ensure accurate financial reporting
    Participate in process improvement initiatives, enhancing internal controls and compliance procedures
    Support periodic audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations

    Job Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    4+ years of relevant experience in revenue recognition in a SaaS or technology company
    Solid understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles under US GAAP
    Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
    Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills
    Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    CPA license or progress towards CPA is preferred
    Salesforce and NetSuite experience is preferred
