    Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Job Description

    *JOB TYPE: Full-Time
    *JOB LOCATION: Virtual work from home office and visit client locations


    Preferred CFO is an outsourced/fractional CFO firm providing premium Finance, Accounting, HR and Payroll assistance to growing and emerging companies.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our executive team.

    The CRO will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic planning, development, and execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in growing revenue streams, building high-performing teams, and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.

    Preferred CFO is a fully remote office, we have never had an office in out 10+ years. Very flexible, fun, work environment.

    Responsibilities


    • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue generation strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
    • Lead the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth across all channels, including direct sales, partnerships, and digital marketing.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for revenue expansion.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and maximize revenue opportunities.
    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in sales and marketing processes, tools, and techniques.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to track progress towards revenue targets and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with other members of the executive team to align revenue generation efforts with overall business strategy and objectives.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales and revenue performance, key initiatives, and strategic priorities.
    Qualifications


    • Proven track record of success in senior sales/marketing roles in the professional services industry.
    • Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective revenue generation strategies.
    • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a rapidly evolving market.
