    Description
    The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes.

    The Human Resource Coordinator ensures that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed.

    This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, recruiting and hiring and new employee onboarding.


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questionsCompletes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 filesResponsible for diligent maintenance and upkeep of all employee files, including compensationResponsible for new hire onboarding process including equipment shipment/procurement, document completion and return, completing of onboarding workflows in HR systemSubmits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checksConducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programsAssists with processing of terminations and the retrieval of equipmentAssists with the preparation of the performance review processAssists with recruitment and interview process.

    Tracks status of candidates and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting processSchedules meetings and interviews as requestedFiles documents into appropriate employee filesAssists or prepares correspondence as requestedPrepares new-employee filesRepresents Human Resources on applicable employee-driven committees Performs other related duties as assignedRequired Experience and Skills:

    Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion and composureImpeccable attention to detail and high level of accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailWorking understanding of human resource principles, practices and proceduresExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
