- Work on systems administration-related issues with hardware and software for different network environments.
- Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software.
- Propose system administration process improvement to reduce maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers.
- Determines system requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and system configuration maintenance.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
- Develops and recommends corrective actions.
- May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, especially VMWare, to include infrastructure and automation of those environments.
- Skills in logical/physical architecture modeling and knowledge of CI/CD pipeline architecture, RAM, Mission Assurance, Safety, and cyber security concepts.
- 3-5 years experience in Cloud technology and concepts and continuous integration environments in Network, Software, or platform infrastructure capability automation, development, and deployment.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX or Windows system administration.
- Experience with a shell scripting language (e.g., Python, Powershell, etc.).
- An active Secret clearance is required to start.
- 9 years with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7 years with a Master's degree or 13 years experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II, IAM Level III or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
- Effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
- Skills in logical/physical architecture modeling and knowledge of CI/CD pipeline architecture, RAM, Mission Assurance, Safety, and cyber security concepts are highly desirable.
- Able to work independently / solo on large projects; at other times, will be in a collaborative team environment with other DevSecOps engineers and other program development and deployment teams.

Position Overview:
The selected candidate will support the C2BMC DevSecOps team in developing and deploying Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability. The candidate will assist in managing multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program. We are working with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro).
The appropriate measure for this level of position includes applying extensive expertise, solving complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity, work performed without appreciable direction, and reviewing for desired results from a relatively long-time perspective (erroneous decisions would normally fail to achieve major organizational objectives). May function in project leadership roles and represent the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.

Salary Range: $121,000 - $181,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
