    Job DescriptionMDM Data Engineer

    NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity. The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card). This is a hybrid (on-site and remote), preference given to candidates in the Boston MA area, however, travel expenses reimbursed for the ideal candidate.

    Daily Responsibilities
    • Develop and execute data profiling, data quality analysis and capture results for requirement recommendations and plan.
    • Design, develop, and implement MDM.
    • Recommending technologies and solutions.
    • Assist in system analysis, design, development, and testing of patch releases and system upgrades.
    • ETL development, support, and operations with an emphasis on Data Quality.
    • Data warehouses and data lake concepts.
    • Data Warehousing, Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Cataloging, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Dictionary, Data Mapping, Data Policy, and Data Governance.
    • Gathe business requirements by collaborating with business users, stakeholders, and SMEs.
    • Purview, Databricks, and Data Fabrics skills.

    Requirements
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
    • 7+ years of IT experience in Data Engineer, MDM roles.
    • Must have strong experience with Azure Data (ADLS, Data Factory, Synapse or Data Fabric) not only with proof of concept but must have deployed solution in production.
    • Must have prior experience working as a Data Engineer.
    • Must have experience with Data Build Tool (DBT).
    • Must have Data Warehousing experience, including best practices for organizing the data.
    • Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance
    • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and understanding of Master Data hierarchy and implemented multi-domain MDM.
    • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing and data manipulation.
