    Description
    The Sr.

    Inventory Analyst is a hands-on position responsible for the availability of inventory to service our customers within agreed service level agreements.

    Coordinates all efforts to maintain appropriate inventory levels at multiple Distribution Center locations across Canada and the US.

    This role will utilize expert knowledge and experience to develop and implement practices and policies and manage inventory cycles to control and optimize inventory investment.

    Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance teams is paramount to achieve these sales and service objectives.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Daily monitoring and analyzing inventory levels across North American distribution centers.
    Review, approve and initiate inventory transfer requests between DCs and distributors.
    Perform inventory balancing recommendations/analysis to ensure adequate supply across supply network.
    Develop mitigation plans and remain proactive with potential inventory shortages in collaboration with Sales team.
    Execute inventory reservations for key managed programs to ensure they have dedicated inventory.
    Develop a solid understanding of sales trend analysis to integrate into transfer approval logic.
    Generate and distribute reports surrounding current and future inventory positions to multiple channels.
    Understands inventory service levels and safety stock levels to ensure top colors are adequately supplied.
    Understands supply chain lead times and proper inventory management impacts on demand.
    Work closely with Demand Planner on process improvement projects.
    Able to assist Demand Planner with deadline driven deliverables to ensure department success.
    Tool building and optimization of process to strive for continuous improvement.

    Requirements

    Experience with supply chain and demand planning
    Have an analytic mindset
    Systemic perspective, high analytical capability
    Drive to initiate process improvement of supply chain proficiencies.
    Ability to multi-task and work both independently and collaboratively in team environment
    Thoroughness, accuracy, organization, order, attention to details
    Bachelor's degree required in related discipline preferred.
    Adaptive and positive attitude towards the work and support functions

    WHAT WE OFFER
    Base salary ($56,000 - $70,000) plus bonus incentive.
