- Responsible for overseeing all human resource issues including staffing, Team Member relations, orientation and development, compensation and benefits.
- Develop detailed training programs for all levels departments, to include CBT programs.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Will continuously improve and develop the entire HR function with the support of the senior leadership team.
- Designs and implements human resources strategies, plans and objectives that are aligned with overall business operations.
- Provides strategic and day to day coaching and leadership to management team to influence business objectives.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting in Paylocity system and coordinate the processing of all HR reports
- Research payroll and tax-related problems and inquiries
- Oversees and performs record management through payroll system
- Develop and implement an effective wellness program for all team members.
- Oversees weekly payroll process
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. SHRM certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred.
- 2-5 years of human resources experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and management experience.
- Must have knowledge of relevant federal, state and local regulations relating to Human Resources.
- Experience processing payroll for a company with 300+ employees (experience processing payroll in a retail environment preferred)
- Human Resources experience in the retail setting preferred
