The Department of Nursing in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa invites qualified applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2024 or Spring 2025.
The department is interested in candidates who have an interest in teaching adult/older adult healthcare management, advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, and health assessment, EBP practice, health care prevention and promotion.
The successful candidate is expected to have a commitment to classroom and clinical teaching. Opportunity in teaching across all programs (BSN, MSN AGNP-PC and FNP programs and post- masters DNP) is available. Position also includes student advising, scholarly activity, service and clinical practice within the environment of a liberal arts institution. A typical teaching load is 12 credit hours in a 14-week semester. Nursing faculty have one-day week scheduled for clinical practice if desired.
