- What strategies do you employ to ensure smooth and successful deployment of releases? How do you minimize disruptions and risks during the release process?

- Position is approved and start date is ASAP.
- One interview process. Panel interview with 4-5 team members.
- Team size is 10. Includes QA, developers and Product Owner. Some QA resources are located offshore.
- Long term contract opportunity.
- This position is a new add due to increased workload.
- Certified Scrum Master certification and/or SAFe certification are required. Both would be preferred.
- Local candidates who can work onsite in a hybrid capacity will be given first preference. This position works closely with the business, so developing those relationships will be important. Second preference would be the 6 state footprint.
- Recent SAFe experience is required.
- They do NOT want an Agile coach. They need a true Scrum Master.
- They need a Scrum Master who has worked closely on product/technology releases. This resource will be on a team that deploys technology to stores. Experience working on projects deploying new technologies is required.
- Experience working closely with a Product Owner in past roles.
- Experience interfacing with the business side in previous roles, and not just managing teams and Agile ceremonies. This role is more of a consultant position than a traditional Scrum Master.
- Experience in release management is required. The manager noted that this is an unusual ask for a Scrum Master, as most resources will not have release management experience. We need to carefully screen for this skill. They need to understand release management processes and ensure the team is following the procedures that are in place for successful releases in order to get stable solutions deployed to the stores. They do not want any disruptions in the stores when these systems are deployed, so demonstrable release management experience is an absolute requirement.

Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned and adaptable professional to join our team as a Scrum Master. In this role, you will lead Agile teams, driving the adoption of Agile principles and practices to ensure the successful delivery of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Agile methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Scrum Master an Agile team, facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, empowering them to deliver high-quality products and services.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Monitor team performance and progress, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance team effectiveness.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and other project stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.

-Responsible for Release Management and deployment of stable releases, ensure the teams follow due diligence for release deployments.
-Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities alongside Business stakeholders and Release Management teams.
- Collaborate closely with relevant parties to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Facilitate discussions and gather necessary information to drive effective resolutions.
High level of responsiveness to stakeholder inquiries and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, with hands-on experience leading Agile teams and implementing Agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience with Agile project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record of cultivating strong relationships with Business stakeholders.
