1. Preference - Hybrid onsite in Grand Rapids, MI OR
2. 6 State footprint OR
3. Onshore

This is a 7 month contract. Equipment will be provided. Job Description:

• We are seeking a seasoned and adaptable professional to join our team as a Scrum Master. In this role, you will lead Agile teams, driving the adoption of Agile principles and practices to ensure the successful delivery of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Agile methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Scrum Master an Agile team, facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, empowering them to deliver high-quality products and services.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Monitor team performance and progress, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance team effectiveness.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and other project stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Conduct regular retrospectives and reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement, driving the team's continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure that Agile principles and practices are consistently applied across the organization, promoting a culture of agility and innovation.
• Responsible for Release Management and deployment of stable releases, ensure the teams follow due diligence for release deployments.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities alongside Business stakeholders and Release Management teams.
• Collaborate closely with relevant parties to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Facilitate discussions and gather necessary information to drive effective resolutions.
• High level of responsiveness to stakeholder inquiries and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, with hands-on experience leading Agile teams and implementing Agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Experience with Agile project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of Agile methodologies
• Proven track record of cultivating strong relationships with Business stakeholders
• Responsible for Release Management and ensuring deployment of stable releases
• Demonstrated ability to proactively communicate with stakeholders and promptly address their needs and concerns along with high level troubleshooting.
• High level of responsiveness to stakeholder inquiries and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
