Joining Stanford Medicine Catalyst means being at the forefront of inventing the future and making a tangible impact on the lives of patients worldwide. As a Catalyst Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating Stanford's innovations and directly engaging with an extraordinary range of individuals. Your work will involve creating and administering programs and functions with minimal supervision, focusing on identifying and validating medical innovations within the Stanford Medicine clinical areas, and working directly with project teams to help them realize their full potential.
The primary responsibility of the Business Analyst will be creating processes and systems that support the Due Diligence process for candidate projects, evaluating their potential for success. Beyond project selection, there will be opportunities to contribute to the continued development of selected projects. To excel in this role, you should possess a deep passion for healthcare and life sciences, a strong understanding of the healthcare startup landscape, and the ability to effectively communicate with brilliant entrepreneurs.

This is a hybrid position and you will be onsite two to three days a week in Palo Alto.Duties include:
·Create processes and systems that support the Due Diligence process
·Create and manage outreach and marketing plans for the program
·Assist in executing the Catalyst Evaluation process for projects seeking entry into the Catalyst program
·Participate in assessing projects and delivering recommendations on projects
·Review and analyze commercial market trends, providing recommendations to achieve or modify program or function goals
·Represent the program or function within the department, unit, or school
·Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategies, including relationship development and communications
·Collaborate with Stanford Medicine Communications team to ensure effective representation of Stanford Medicine Catalyst in external and internal communications
·Support current cohort projects with competitive analysis and business plan formation
·Synthesize information from various sources and provide market reports on healthcare fields relevant to Stanford Medicine Catalyst project teams
·Assist in building slide decks and executive reports for the Executive Director and Discovery team
·Maintain and update the Catalyst program's website
·Gather and aggregate data to analyze cohort trends and applicant information for the Catalyst team

The expected pay range for this position is $69K to $141K per annum.Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
