- Annual salary: $90,000 - $115,000 plus a bonus

- Evaluate the performance of the kitchen staff, make recommendations for promotions, hiring, and advancement of salaried kitchen personnel.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to lead the Risk Management Team in addressing liability, risk, and compliance issues proactively.
- Review all performance assessments and recommendations made by the Sous Chef.
- Train, manage, and develop the culinary team members.
- Schedule kitchen personnel within labor forecasts and predefined budgets.
- Estimate food usage and order products accordingly.
- Monitor and control food costs through specifications, storeroom requisition systems, product storage requirements, standardized recipes, and waste control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with recipe guidelines to maintain consistent quality, proper presentation techniques, and food safety standards.
- Maintain proper equipment cleaning and maintenance standards.
- Create a safe and sanitized work environment for all employees by ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
- Conduct weekly and monthly food and supply product inventories.
- Ability to build and maintain a strong team environment within the department, ensuring appropriate training and workload for employees.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Office preferred.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English.
- Proven experience as a head chef.
- Strong record of kitchen management.
- Effective problem-solving and delegation skills.
- Staying updated on cooking trends and best practices.
- A minimum of 3 years of Executive Chef experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment, with at least 6 years of progressive Chef experience.
