    Description


    Our client, a leading real estate financing company located in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Underwriter to add to their dynamic and growing team.

    This role will report to the Managing Director of Underwriting and will work with established real estate professionals while mentoring Underwriters.


    Responsibilities:
    Work closely with originators, assess and underwrite complex deals
    Underwrite multiple asset classes (i.e. multifamily, office, retail, mixed use, etc.)
    Organize and lead kickoff calls with borrowers and other parties in the deal
    Conduct due diligence, and troubleshoot underwriting issues


    Qualifications:
    A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
    At least five years' underwriting commercial real estate
