They are seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to oversee the estimating department, working closely with management to keep standards high.

Communicate with Owners, Partners, Representatives, Fabricators, General Contractors, Suppliers, Architects and Consultants;
Optimize job costs by negotiating prices with vendors/sub-contractors through quotations for material/services;
Coordinate bid preparation requirements with the Contract Administrator;
Interface with Owner and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility;
Prepare budgets, subcontracts, purchase orders and assist in preliminary project schedules;
Ensure proper project hand off when project is taken over by PM/Team;
Review proposal specifications, drawings, and conditions to determine scope of work;
Estimate Indirect cost including management, construction equipment and tools;
Review all proposals internally before being submitted to Owner, Fabricator, and/or General Contractor customers;
Training and mentoring of estimating staff and direct reports;
What you'll need:
5+ year's steek estimating experience;
Experience in industrial & commercial structural & miscellaneous construction work;
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred;
