    The Director of Information Services oversees data delivery, digital channels, digital products, and technology for internal and external ONS customers. Directs the ONS Enterprise's corporate IS operations including IS business analysis, multi-tier software product development, infrastructure, data security and compliance, data management, data governance, and IS project management leveraging agile methodologies.

    This is a full-time REMOTE (work-from-home) position. Occasional travel to the ONSE Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA throughout the year will be required.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate new technologies, systems, and processes.
    • Identifies opportunities to streamline customer-facing digital products and channels, services, increase capabilities, integrate systems, and improve performance for internal and external customers.
    • Ensures data, systems, and applications are compliant with regulations and industry security standards such as PCI, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
      • Maintains full asset compliance including software licensing.
    • Manages vendor relations and service contracts including off-and-near-shore resources and managed service providers.

    Leadership: Director

    • Develops and monitors annual budgets and corresponding business cases to ensure utilization meets strategic, operational, and budgetary goals.
    • Directs strategic departments and service delivery for areas of responsibility in support of organizational priorities.
    • Coaches leaders and professional team members for career growth and development.
    • Engage direct leadership team to leverage talent, communicate mission, vision, and values, and achieve buy-in.
    • Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    Required Skills

    • Strong working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, security practices, storage area networks, Azure services, AWS services, software engineering methodologies, DevOps practices, Kanban and other Agile methodologies, active directory, IIS, SQL server, and network infrastructure
    • Strong understanding of software, hardware, and technology-based services
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Strong written and oral presentation skills
    • Strong ability to analyze processes and simplify them through automation.
    • Ability to develop and present reporting tools (e.g. progress reports, dashboards)

    Preferred Skills

    • Understanding of ethical considerations related to artificial intelligence.
    • Understanding of intellectual property protection.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, information systems management, computer science, or a related area of study.
    • 5 years of managerial experience leading IT projects and teams and software product development.
    • Experience with security compliance related to PCI, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.

    Pay Range:

    Oncology Nursing Society Enterprise (ONSE) uses a market-based approach to pay. Pay rates are established considering the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified periodically based on market analysis.

    Anticipated Pay Range: $125,317 to $145,682 annually
