    Job Title: Denials Management Medical Specialist (Medical Billing/Denied Claims Specialist)

    Location (city, state): Farmington, CT

    Our client, a prominent orthopedic specialty group, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team in Farmington, CT. Renowned for their comprehensive orthopedic care services, our client provides exceptional treatment to patients of all ages.

    Job Description:

    Our client is in need of a skilled Medical Billing/Denials Management professional to oversee the resolution of denied and unpaid claims with insurance companies. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health of the organization by facilitating payment collection.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Follow up on denied and unpaid claims with insurance companies.
    • Manage a high volume of approximately 40 claims per day.
    • Utilize Epic software for claims management.
    • Collaborate with the Billing Manager to address any discrepancies or issues.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in denials management and collections.
    • Familiarity with healthcare billing practices and insurance processes.
    • Proficiency in Epic software preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Additional Details:

    • Contract-to-Hire (CTH) position.
    • Interviews available on multiple dates.
