Job Description Summary:
The Senior Demand Planning Data Analyst is the integration point into the sales and commercial organization. Sales forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position. This position leads communication for their respective customers and products with key counterparts in the Supply Chain (Purchasing, SCM, Warehouse, Sales and Marketing, etc.)
Job Description:
Calculate weekly and monthly sales forecasts based on historical information and additional market information.
Make recommended adjustments to the sales forecasts and inventory targets, based on changes in demand and market trends.
Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives.
Generate ad hoc reports and/or market analyses as requested.
Qualifications:
SAP or other similar ERP systems knowledge and experience required.
Demand Planning / Forecasting systems knowledge and experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.- 3 years related experience is required.
Good communication and team building skills, good people managing skills.
Strong analytical abilities, extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities.
