- Serve as the Deputy Director of the Air and Radiation Division;
- Assist the Division Director with the planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating of the regional Air and Radiation Division program and determining the goals, priorities and objectives for the regional air program;
- Develop comprehensive air programs to achieve multiple environmental goals for air and radiation (., clean air, clear skies (haze), and reduction of risk from air toxics, radiation, and indoor air pollution);
- Provide technical assistance to state and local agencies in developing and implementing plans, permitting programs, monitoring systems, instrumentation, data collection, and analysis systems.
