    Procurement Specialist

    Location: Kent, OH

    Salary: $50,000-75,000

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-4PM or 8AM-5PM

    Position Overview:

    Kelly Services has teamed up with a well-known global organization in the manufacturing sector that needs a skilled Procurement Specialist to join them. This role is based at the Kent facility but will work closely with the company's procurement team in America. Don't miss the chance to be considered for this opportunity.

    Duties:

    • Process purchase requisitions from internal ERP system, Spare Part associates, and MRO items
    • Maintain data in ERP and document management systems
    • Update purchase order status regularly and communicate with associates
    • Negotiate agreements and supply contracts for cost savings
    • Coordinate with shipping agencies and suppliers for timely deliveries
    • Conduct site visits and supplier risk assessments
    • Prepare KPI reports and analysis
    • Collaborate on cost-saving projects and inventory optimization
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures
    • Other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Mandatory

    • At least 3 years of purchasing experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business applications

    Desirable

    • 3-5 years of purchasing experience
    • Experience in manufacturing environments
    • Experience managing spend categories
    • Knowledge of SAP

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
    • High school diploma with 7+ years of experience considered
    • Additional certifications like CPIM or CSCP are a plus
