    Maag Reduction Inc., a leading manufacturer of gear pumps, pelletizing, pulverizing, and filtration systems and automation solutions , is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. This is an onsite position that would report to their Kent, OH facility.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute category strategies for assigned categories, aligning with business objectives.
    • Process purchase requisitions from our internal ERP system, Spare Part associates, and items that support maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO).
    • Regularly maintain relevant data within the ERP and document management systems.
    • Maintain and update purchase order status on a regular basis and communicate that status with the relevant associates.
    • Negotiate agreements and supply contracts to secure lowest cost and shortest delivery.
    • Coordinate with shipping agencies and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods.
    • Perform periodic site visits and supplier risk assessments to ensure new potential suppliers are viable and existing suppliers remain partners.
    • Regularly prepare reports on Key Performance Indicators and other relevant analyses.
    • Collaborate with internal departments on relevant projects such as cost savings and inventory optimization.
    • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
    • Other tasks and projects as assigned by the manager.
