Position: Supply Chain Specialist

Welcome to the job listing at Zoetis! Join our team as a Supply Chain Specialist to ensure the smooth flow of materials to meet production needs and maintain optimal inventory levels. As a Supply Chain Specialist at Zoetis, you'll play a key role in managing inventory while building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Execute Purchase Orders to schedule material supplies and maintain inventory levels
Manage Raw Materials and Packaging inventories for production schedules
Day-to-day order management and deliveries
Support supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement
Plan, develop, and implement strategies for material delivery
Assess minimum order quantities and manage risks to production schedules
Implement corrective actions for material shortages
Monitor Bill of Materials integrity
Create and maintain bom for semi-finished and finished goods
Support material changes and new product introductions
Utilize Operational Excellence Methodologies for product supply improvements
Conduct Inventory checks to validate accuracy and reduce obsolete stock
Confirm manufacturing dates and artwork for production orders

Technical Skills and Competencies Required:

Strong knowledge of production, inventory, and planning systems
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
Proficiency in intermediate Excel functions
Proven ability to work in a team environment and drive new methodologies
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts preferred
APICS training preferred

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business Administration, or 4 years' related experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Materials Management

Desired Qualifications:

Green belt certification
Experience in lean six sigma and visual management
