    Description

    Job Summary:

    As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our enterprise technology environment. Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring hardware and software, providing technical support to our customers both in-person and remotely, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT resources. You will collaborate with various teams to implement new practices and technologies to increase efficiency. Clear communication and follow-through are key to delivering top-tier service and support.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, mobile devices, printers, and scanners.
    • Assist in coordinating audiovisual setups and provide support for video conferencing.
    • Preferably knowledgeable in Virtual Meeting Applications such as MS Teams, Zoom, and GoTo, as well as certified equipment for Microsoft Teams Rooms.
    • Monitor and maintain computer systems using tools like Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
    • Identify and diagnose hardware, software, or network-related problems and develop plans to resolve them.
    • Recommend strategies for increasing efficiency, including implementing new practices, devices, or software.
    • Proficiency in Office 365 applications, including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and Windows 10/11.
    • Collaborate with other IT department members on projects and initiatives.
    • Available for onsite support during operating hours and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
    • Travel to remote locations as needed to provide support.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

    Required Skills:

    • Preferably experience in IT enterprise environments.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or relevant education is a plus.
    • Ability to learn new systems and software in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, critical and analytical thinking, and adaptability to change.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
    • Capacity to perform well in high-pressure situations, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
