    Service Desk Technician - Orlando, United States - inSync Staffing

    Description
    Service Desk Technician
    Location: Orlando, FL
    Pay Rate: $28.95

    Duration: 3 months+
    Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex end-user problems.
    • Prepare, maintain, and uphold logging and reporting procedures.
    • Monitor desktop operations via ticketing system.
    • Implement technical infrastructure projects to refresh supported systems.
    • Provide first and second-level support to end-users.
    • Document and execute desktop security standards.
    • Provide outstanding customer service and technical account management.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot requests utilizing various tools.
    • Instruct users and troubleshoot software/hardware issues.
    • Provide fast response and maintain professionalism.
    • Provide reports to management and build knowledge base.
    • Lead/assist with training and quality improvement programs.
    • Collaborate with other supportive roles and external vendors/customers.
    Education:
    • Associate's degree in Information Technology.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum 5 years of service desk operations.
    • Formal Windows classroom training and certifications.
    • PC hardware troubleshooting skills.
    • Knowledge of DNS, FTP, SMTP, TCP/IP, LDAP.
    • Proficiency with Windows Win10 operating systems and Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to react to high-priority requirements and work under minimal supervision.
    • Good organization, project management, and documentation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.
    • Working knowledge of Linux network fundamentals.
    • Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Service Now and Microsoft 365 work environment.
    • One Microsoft desktop certification (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, MTA) highly desired.
    • ITIL certification desired.
    • Certifications in Windows system management.
    • Linux certification.
