    Industrial Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift

    Description:

    This position is eligible for our $1500 Sign-On/Retention bonus, and an annual $600 reimbursement toward tools

    Job Description

    Main Purpose

    This position is a working Supervisor role and will work side by side with the Maintenance Mechanics while being there to supervise the performance/activity and train as needed. This is a 2nd Shift role, Monday-Friday 2:30PM-11PM.

    Key job responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to employees and monitor their activities; ensure maintenance area is neat and organized
  • Ensure maintenance personnel are following all operational and health and safety procedures
  • Supervise the preventive maintenance and repairs of all plant equipment
  • Coordinate all major projects, ex. shut downs
  • Manage the organization of maintenance shop and parts trailer
  • Oversee mobile equipment maintenance i.e., forklift, track and back hoes and assist Maintenance Manager to ensure parts and supplies are in inventory

    • Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience
  • Previous management experience is a plus
  • Ability to read equipment prints; secure information from OEM manuals; apply basic mathematical concepts; and understand and apply common operational documents, SOP's, and training modules
  • The ability to drive a forklift
  • The candidate must have own tools
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
