    Service Manager (TN, Knoxville)TN, Knoxville/Alcoa At Five Star Breaktime Solutions, the Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities within an organization.

    This role involves developing and implementing maintenance policies and procedures, managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring equipment and facilities are properly maintained, and minimizing downtime through effective preventive maintenance programs.


    Service Maintenance responsibilities include:
    + Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of equipment and facilities. + Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. + Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed. + Assign tasks and responsibilities to maintenance staff, ensuring work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. + Coordinate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and procurement, to prioritize maintenance activities and support overall business objectives. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts and supplies. + Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed. + Develop and manage maintenance budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely and engages in job duties to ensure the safety of the company-owned vehicle. + Collaborate with management to develop long-term maintenance strategies and plans to support business growth and sustainability. + Establishes a good rapport with service location employees to ensure customer satisfaction through verbal communication and providing good service.


    Preferred qualifications:
    + Experience working with refrigeration systems + Prior experience working with machines and electrical maintenance with the purpose of repair/installs Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree preferred + Must be able to lift 50lbs+; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis. Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds + Service Technicians are required to be at least 21 years old (DOT) and have a valid driver's license. + Must be able to consent to an initial drug screen. + Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check. + Must be able to consent to and have the ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card. + Ability to drive a company box truck vehicle or other assigned company vehicles + Ability to work in all weather conditions (ex. heat, cold, rain, and/or snow)

    Monday -Friday (7:00am to 5:00pm) + Pay: $63-$68k (yearly)
