- Participation in administrative led projects ranging from all areas of the Division, including quality improvement, operations, finance, and graduate medical education. This also includes attending meetings regarding the specific project and preparing and presenting project work.
- Managing and analyzing data for quality improvement initiatives within the Division.
- Attending case conference, morbidity and mortality, grand rounds or other medical education lectures of interest.

Job Summary
The Division of Critical Care Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital offers an exciting learning opportunity for undergraduate students who are interested in a career in healthcare administration. Selected students will gain exposure to the multifaceted operations of a busy clinical Division within a large academic medical center in the Boston area. Through this administrative internship, students will become engaged in a combination of observational and project-based work while receiving guidance and mentorship from experienced healthcare professionals.The intern will be precepted by Divisional leaders who will be responsible for providing the student with a broad range of learning opportunities depending on priorities of the Division, as well as the student's own professional interests.
This is a paid and hybrid opportunity. The intern will be working 4 days per week (32 hours with 3 days working on- site and 1 day working remotely).
