This unique position will lead the charge in creating an intuitive, engaging user interface for our security data ETL platform, ensuring a seamless and compelling user experience.     We are seeking a Founding Front-End Engineer with 7+ years of experience, specializing in front-end development with UI/UX design experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in early-stage startups and will take full ownership of building out the front-end of our security data ETL platform. This role is crucial in creating an intuitive, engaging user interface, and setting the standard for our front-end strategy and execution.Responsibilities:In Your First 90 Days:
    • Lay the Groundwork: Shape the front-end architecture and design standards to establish a strong foundation for a scalable, high-performing, and user-centric platform.
    • Strategize and Plan: Formulate a UI/UX strategy to simplify complex security data management, focusing on key areas for immediate impact and intuitive user experiences.
    • Collaborate and Refine: Work closely with the engineering and product teams to prioritize design concepts that enhance user interaction and journey.
    • Establish Best Practices: Kick off the development of front-end practices and introduce essential tools to boost productivity and maintain deployment quality.
    • Seek Feedback: Initiate conversations with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, using their feedback to guide early design iterations.
    Candidate Requirements:
    - 7+ years of experience specializing in front-end development with UI/UX design experience; early-stage startup experience preferred.
    - Excellent communication skills, able to articulate design concepts and technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
    - Proficiency in front-end development tools and best practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
    - Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with familiarity with frameworks such as Svelte, React, , or Angular.
    - No signs of job hopping (consecutive <1.5yr stints).
    - Proven track record of shipping and iterating on products in an early-stage startup environment. Portfolio available or products they can trace their contributions to are a big plus.
    - Experience building intuitive, data-rich user interfaces for security or data-intensive products, with the ability to design and implement scalable, performant front-end architectures that can handle large volumes of data.Nice-to-Haves:
    - Experience with conducting user research and interviews to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
    - Experience with data ETL processes or security-focused products.
    - Willingness to contribute to product strategy and help define the startup's vision and roadmap.
    - Prior FAANG experience.
    - Proven ability to build and maintain a strong design system and component library.
    - Prior experience in a security or data engineering startup.
