    Description

    Company Overview

    You will be part of the Trading Analytics (TA) team. The TA team is building the next-generation platform that collects, stores, and provides real-time access to large amounts of data to drive better trading and operational performance at Swish. You will be driving the design and implementation of TA's in-house real-time data visualization and analytics platform to support the continued growth of Swish Analytics.

    Tasks

    • Bring your innovation and experience in designing and developing the next-generation data analytics platform using cutting-edge technologies.
    • Standardize processes for the complete development cycle including design, implementation, unit testing, code review, testing automation, etc.
    • Research and adopt the right technologies to improve the scalability and productivity of the trading analytics group.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders and product owners to drive technical design for requirements of various use cases.
    • Coordinate with departments (DE, DevOps, Product, Finance, DS, etc.) to ensure a smooth cycle from development to deployment.

    Qualifications

    • Expert-level front-end software development skills with JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS.
    • Experience with data analytics, data visualization, BI tools.
    • 4+ years of software development experience & strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
    • Ability to drive projects end to end.
    • Ability to produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
    • Familiarity with backend Restful API development (experience with Django, Flask, Pyramid, or another RESTful development framework is desirable.)
    • Solid background in complicated SQL & data analytics. Experience with SQL time series analytical queries, window functions, data modeling, and SQL query optimization is desirable.
    • Zeal for learning and adopting new ideas and patterns
    • Strong Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and software design

    Base salary: $90-145,000
