    MDW Associates is seeking a Project Manager III to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering in Arlington, Virginia. The Manager will provide Joint Defense Manufacturing Technology Panel (JDMTP) support for Task Order (TO) execution.

    The Project Manager will perform the following job functions:

    • Identify and integrate joint requirements, conduct joint program planning, and implement joint strategies according to a common DoD ManTech Program strategic vision.
    • Ensure coordination and collaboration of project activities across the DoD.
    • Coordinate with the JDMTP Chair and OSD ManTech leadership to plan bi-annual (twice per year) JDMTP All Hands Meetings.
    • Serve as the OSD Executive Secretary for the JDMTP by coordinating topics, developing materials, arranging schedules, and supporting periodic JDMTP meetings at the principal level (monthly and ad hoc as required), sub-panel technical working group level (monthly and ad hoc as required), and action officer level (monthly and ad hoc as required).
    • Schedule and facilitate standing Action Officers meetings (monthly and ad hoc as required).
    • Issue data calls, collect, collate, and catalog information from JDMTP Principals, and Service and Agency ManTech organizations.
    • Assist with creating DoD ManTech Gold Book and annual success stories brochure.
    • Implement process improvement and information sharing across the DoD ManTech Program.
    • Assist conference organizers with planning the annual Defense Manufacturing Conference (DMC) and annual Defense Manufacturing Technology Achievement Awards. Support DMC Planning Meetings (bi-weekly and then weekly as the DMC date approaches).
    • Support JDMTP member participation in the annual DoD ManTech Program Congressional Staffer Day and annual DoD ManTech Program Pentagon Outreach Day.

    Required Experience:

    • Superior planning, organizational, and communication (written and oral) skills with the ability to tailor efforts and products to the proper level of meeting participants (e.g., working, management, and executive levels).
    • Skill and experience leading team scenarios, driving consensus and conducting collective activities.
    • Experience working with Senior leaders.

    Education Requirement/Required Years of Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university is required with five (5) years of relevant professional experience.

    Clearance Requirement(s):

    • Candidates for this position must have an Active US Secret Security Clearance
