- Maintain the integrity of the Health Information Record by accurately obtaining, inputting, and retrieving information into and from the Electronic Medical Record system.
- Schedule appointments, complete preregistration tasks, verify demographic and insurance information, and perform other tasks necessary for accurate billing.
- Collaborate with clinical healthcare staff to determine when triage is needed.
- Coordinate patient and information flow while maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with Federal HIPAA laws.
- May serve as a member of a patient care team, providing care coordination services and participating in Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities.
- Complete prior authorizations and referrals, and provide specialist resource information.
- Track and log patient information.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- At least 1 year of experience delivering highlevel customer service.
- Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Associate's Degree in a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering highlevel customer service.
- At least 3 years of relevant healthcare experience.
- Proficient with an Electronic Medical Record system.

The Community Health Center of Buffalo (CHCB) is seeking an experienced Patient Services Representative (PSR) with dental office experience. The PSR will provide excellent customer service and focus on patient satisfaction and care. They will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to treating patients with respect.
