    Research Associate Position at Corteva Agriscience


    Corteva Agriscience is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join our team in Marion, Iowa. As a Research Associate (RA) at our Marion research center, you will be actively involved in various activities crucial to the success of our projects.


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct field research experiments based on specific protocols with independent judgment.
    • Collaborate with experiment managers to collect and summarize data, noting and addressing any issues.
    • Operate agricultural research equipment such as tractors, planters, and sprayers.
    • Contribute to the development and advancement of new products.
    • Maintain daily operations and ensure a safe work environment.
    • Provide support for other research projects at the Marion research center.
    • Review data collection needs, determine labor requirements, and coordinate with the Research Operations Lead.
    • Evaluate testing sites to ensure optimal conditions for research data.

    Qualifications:


    Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in agronomy or related field.

    • Knowledge of agronomy, crop production, and experimental field plot design.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Competency with agricultural research machinery and various software.
    • Flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods.
