    Medical Data Entry Specialist Needed

    Location: Jacksonville, FL

    Job Description:

    Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to the healthcare industry? We are seeking a skilled Medical Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating medical records accurately and efficiently.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately enter patient information into electronic medical records systems.
    • Ensure all data is entered in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare standards.
    • Review and verify accuracy of data entered.
    • Assist with data clean-up and quality assurance initiatives.
    • Collaborate with medical professionals and administrative staff to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
    • Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
    Requirements:
    • Previous experience in medical data entry preferred.
    • Proficiency in data entry software and MS Office suite.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding a plus.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
