The
Opportunity:
Under close supervision, conduct off-site courier services. Ensure vehicle logs and driving records are present and up-to-date. Complete packaging and ship material following the regulatory requirements and transportation guidelines.
Verify receipts to ensure damage free products are introduced into our system, discrepancies are properly documented, and accurate records are maintained.
Place all incoming and outgoing materials in appropriate staging and storage locations. Preserve the quality and integrity of materials while loading and unloading activities occur. Ensure Receiving/Warehouse areas are safe, clean and presentable at all times.
In this role, you will report to the Supervisor Logistics and Support Services and will work closely with the Avantor's Clinical Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.
:
Education:
High school graduate (or equivalent).
Qualifications:
Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
Capable of producing quality work.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to use Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Ability to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis and operate equipment associated with a warehouse / archive (forklift, etc.).
Have a general understanding of PPE and MSDS.How you will thrive and create an impact:

In this role you will:
Conduct courier services.

Performance of other duties as assigned by appropriate supervisory personnel.
