    Position: Program Manager (On-Site)

    Salary: $80k-$85k

    Location: 2510 Fifth Street, Bldg. 840, Area B, Wright Patterson AFB OH

    Position description: The Program Manager shall provide support USAFSAM/ET under the surveillance of ET Deputy Chair.

    Mandatory Qualifications:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Bachelors degree with 3 years' experience.
    • The contractor employee shall possess knowledge of the program planning process and evidence-based methods to mitigate risks and stressors in education and training management.
    • The contractor employee shall have knowledge of military organization and culture, and the unique stressors placed upon personnel in an operational military workplace.
    • The contractor employee shall have professional knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, or methodologies of health sciences to plan, coordinate, conduct and integrate evidence-based education and training programs, including project development and execution, training, analytical evaluation, and advisory services. Focus will be in Aeromedical Evacuation training.
    • The contractor employee shall have skill in collecting data and conducting substantial problem analysis and program evaluation to identify adverse trends, ineffective practices or procedures, and shortcomings.
    • The contractor employee shall have the ability to thrive in a team environment yet be able to complete assigned tasks independently or with minimal guidance from team leads.
    • The contractor employee shall possess organizational skills; the ability to achieve set goals; initiative in performing assigned tasks; ability to follow-up complex projects with influence, and integrity; and ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
    • The contractor employee shall have prior teaching or instructor experience to facilitate course scheduling and modifications.
    • The contractor employee shall have knowledge of agency program goals and objectives, the sequence and time of key program events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the worth of program accomplishments.
    • The contractor employee shall have skill in preparing project papers, staff reports and decision papers; and skill and ability in organizing and delivering briefings to senior leadership, managers, work groups, higher HQ, to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.

    Highly Desired Qualifications:

    • Sustained experience working in en route care and/or flight nurse or technician, with a minimum of 3 years of aggregate professional experience specific to military environments, is desired.
    • Experience in program/project management level 1/2 and interest in aeromedical evacuation is desired.

    Tasks:

    • The contractor employee shall provide leadership with regular updates on the transition and consolidation of the aeromedical evacuation flight nurse and technician course.
    • The contractor employee shall use program management milestones and provide cost, schedule and performance metrics to ensure transition of the program is on time and cost appropriate.
    • The contractor employee shall raise questions, concerns and any other issues identified with the transition of the AE program leadership.
    • The contractor employee shall attend/support meetings related to expertise with government and civilian organizations, academia, and subject matter experts.
    • The contractor employee shall utilize an appropriate combination of correspondence, publications, personnel media, guides, pamphlets, meetings, telephone calls, information letters and briefings to publicize the education course plan at all Air Force levels, to registrants and the functional community, taking into consideration such things as funding, the target audience, the message to be transmitted, time constraints, etc.
    • The contractor employee shall participate in scheduled team meetings by providing updates on the transition of the courses.
    • The contractor employee shall establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all En Route Care Training personnel.
