    Description

    Our client is a global industrial manufacturer in metals & engineering, well-known within their industriy. They are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The HR Manager will be responsible for leading, developing, and executing HR strategies that align with the company's objectives. The ideal candidate should have experience in union relations in a manufacturing setting.

    The Opportunity:


    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy


    • Manage the recruitment and selection process


    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization


    • Ensure legal compliance with all HR regulations and labor laws


    • Foster positive employee relations and work closely with union representatives


    • Manage employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training


    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital


    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance


    • Maintain pay plans and benefits programs


    • Assess training needs and develop training programs to meet those needs

    What we are seeking:


    • Bachelor degree in Business, HR or relevant field


    • 5-7 years experience as an HR Generlist/Manager in a manufacturing environment.


    • Experience with both union & non-union employee groups


    • Talent acquisition and recruiting experience.


    • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills


    • Knowledge of HR systems and databases


    • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
