    Description

    An investment management firm in New York City is currently seeking a new Capital Markets Analyst to join their team at their Manhattan-based office.

    Responsibilities:

    The Capital Markets Analyst will:

    • Produce short and long-form capital markets Offering Memoranda and financial models for active presentation to both internal and external parties
    • Identify ideal debt and equity partners transaction
    • Maintain a pipeline of active and prospective capital markets participants and create marking materials for secondary market transactions
    • Handle complex financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions and utilize market data / comps to correctly underwrite a transaction
    • Develop and structure financing proposals for presentation internally to the Fund's Credit committee, and externally to potential debt and equity partners
    • Assist in securitization efforts including preparing offering memorandum, collateral data tapes, and data rooms
    • Support the the firm's existing investment asset management functions by analyzing performance, credit, and market conditions across the seasoned loan portfolio
    • Interact and communicate with borrowers to address sensitive and non-routine matters in addition to risk related items
    • Assist in business development and fund marketing, with significant external exposure to existing investors, prospective equity partners and clients
    • Perform other duties, as needed
    Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of related work experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, and/or Real Estate
    • Microsoft Office proficient
    • Solid analytical and research skills
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Highly organized
