Summary:
Neuberger Berman is looking for a Private Markets Operations Analyst. This is a cross functional role that will support the Private Debt Investment team and other Alternative Investments.

This person will play a key role in the daily support of portfolio management, fund administration and treasury management for Neuberger Berman's private debt strategies and other alternative strategies.

The role will include functional support of Pricing, Data Integrity, Agency, Trade Ops/Settlements, Account Transitions, Asset Servicing and Reconciliations. Additionally, this person will be assisting with design & implementation of process improvements and system enhancements for this space.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and resolve cash, trade, and position breaks as well as any other open items between NB systems and external sources
  • Liaise between portfolio managers, finance, compliance and service providers for all portfoliospecific activity and issues, ensuring crosscommunication of critical information between departments
  • Daily coordination between custodian, loan agents, and fund admins
  • Oversee trade process including trade booking, confirmation with brokers and loan settlement processes
  • Escalate aged open items (breaks, unsettled trades) to appropriate parties
  • Manage asset facility compliance, borrowing base, payment waterfall Loan agent responsibilities and / or oversight of thirdparty loan agency service
  • Coordinate and assist with overseeing outsource providers and vendors across all relevant functions

Qualifications:

  • 02 years operations experience in private credit / bank loans or other private equity strategies within a large fund company or asset management. Experience working with structured debt and various credit products a must Knowledge of Wall Street Office and Clearpar, a plus Knowledge of Allvue accounting systems, Aladdin, Appian and or Hazeltree, a plus Direct Lending investment experience, a plus Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel knowledge of formulas a must, Microsoft Visio, Outlook and Word. Teamoriented work ethic that includes willingness to help others Strong organization and time management skills Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects
Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $50,000-$65,000.

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.

This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City.

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
