    Responsibilities:

    Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software or web developers. Create and maintain databases of known defects. Lead software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. Investigate customer problems referred by technical support. Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source. Collaborate with field staff or customers to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions. Visit beta testing sites to evaluate software performance.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer/analyst-related occupation.

    Special Requirements:

    Position requires at least three (3) years of experience in each of the following skills:

    • 1. Utilize knowledge of Jira, Selenium IDE and WebDriver to execute automation scripts
    • 2. Conduct deployment testing using SCCM
    • 3. Create automation scripts using JavaScript and Java programming languages
    • 4. Test backend systems using SQL queries

    Position requires at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills:

    • 5. Document key requirements in order to create test strategy, test plans and test scripts
    • 6. Test on core platforms: Windows, MAC and Linux using agile, scrum and waterfall methodologies

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $140,358 - $199,600/year. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
