NewcrestImage is hiring a Sales Coordinator for our Hilton Garden Inn in Bryan property.
NewcrestImage is a premier company in the hospitality space that designs, builds and operates state-of-the-art hotels for the most renowned brands in the industry. We are a trendsetting company that is acutely focused on culture and that strives to genuinely care for people so their lives are enriched. This revenue driver will be responsible for assisting in driving revenue generation for the hotel.
In terms of key responsibilities, first and foremost and just like every other position within our company, this role will advance NewcrestImages core values of People come First, Communication is Knowledge, Giving is Fun, Experiences are Memorable and Response-Ability is Ours. This dynamic individual will be responsible for a few specific details within the hotel:
Report to work as scheduled, on time, in proper attire including nametag.
Provide administrative support to sales team members as assigned.
Coordinate and arranging details for assigned group events. Provide on- site coordination for assigned groups.
Work to ensure guests are satisfied with product and service.
Maintain knowledge of all hotel services/features and hours of operation.
Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy, whatever time of day.
Compose, type and edit all correspondence, develop and maintain follow-up task systems
Prepare month-end Sales reports as requested.
Anticipate and prepare documents needed for meetings and maintain various reports.
Maintain special event dates, reports, print daily and weekly reports.
Maintain up-to-date files to ensure proper coordination of sales commitment as well as customer needs.
Provide relevant information to all departments as needed, receive and direct calls, respond to inquiries and research issues when appropriate.
Respond to assigned RFPs for group and transient segments.
Answer inquiry calls and follow through with accounts as assigned.
Win business with new prospects and grow business with existing customers.
Research, analyze and call prospective customers as assigned.
Research, negotiate and answer incoming requests as assigned.
Must practice superior sales skills that result in closing of sales and ensure building/maintaining of professional business relations.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
4-year College Degree, or equivalent, related experience.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Willing to travel and must possess a valid drivers license.
