Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and committed Bilingual (Spanish) Immigration Attorney to take on the role of Interim Managing Partner. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for immigration law to lead our firm during a period of transition. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of experience, leadership skills, and a vision for growth, ready to work closely with a supportive and knowledgeable staff.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring efficient and effective management.
● Lead a team of dedicated legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
● Drive the firm's growth by developing and implementing strategic plans for client service expansion and business development.
● Maintain and enhance the firm's reputation for high-quality legal services and client satisfaction.
● Handle a caseload of immigration matters, including asylum, family immigration, naturalization, and adjusting immigration status, with the potential to oversee select criminal and personal injury cases.
● Represent the firm's values and vision to clients, the legal community, and the public.
Qualifications
● Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the Texas State Bar.
● 1-3 years of experience in immigration law, with a comprehensive understanding of asylum, naturalization, family immigration, and TPS cases.
● Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
● Strong leadership abilities with a proactive and positive approach to management.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal ethics and professionalism.
