    Position Summary:

    The Operations Coordinator is pivotal in the coordination of venue events. This role involves assisting event management in conveying instructions and acting as a bridge between third parties, event personnel, and the venue to ensure the smooth execution of events and contractual obligations.

    Essential Functions:

    • Collect quotes, draft contracts, and submit to vendors, ensuring accuracy and making necessary edits.
    • Oversee the selection process for event exhibitors, from application review to final selection, and collaborate with on-site staff for event setup.
    • Coordinate with the Accounting department for show settlements and wire transfers.
    • Develop detailed operation notes for events, outlining setup requirements, deadlines, and expectations, and follow through to completion.
    • Distribute fully executed artist contracts and manage vendor contracts for shows, festivals, and events.
    • Foster positive relationships with third-party vendors and exhibitors.
    • Support General Managers in event communications.
    • Assist in assigned special projects and events.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
    • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in venue operations
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with an ability to adapt to new business systems
    • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal abilities to establish and maintain effective relationships
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by events

    Pay Scale:

    $ p/h

    Bonus: This role does not currently qualify for bonuses under the existing plan.

    Benefits:

    Event Staff: This position currently does not offer benefits.

    AEG retains the right to modify the employee's job duties verbally or in writing at any time during the employment. Employees may be required to perform tasks outside their regular responsibilities.
