    As a Pavement Sales Representative at National Pavement Partners, you will have a crucial role in advancing our sales efforts by identifying and fostering new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with current clients, and showcasing our paving and asphalt services. This position offers an exciting environment for you to enhance your sales skills while contributing to our company's success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
      - Identify potential clients in commercial and residential sectors.
      - Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and networking events.
      - Maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
    • Client Engagement:
      - Conduct initial client meetings and needs assessments.
      - Present our services convincingly.
      - Address client inquiries promptly.
    • Proposal Development:
      - Prepare competitive proposals for potential clients.
      - Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure proposals meet client needs.
    • Relationship Management:
      - Build and maintain client relationships.
      - Ensure client satisfaction throughout projects.
    • Sales Reporting:
      - Keep records of sales activities and customer interactions.
      - Provide progress reports to the sales manager.
    • Market Research:
      - Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
      - Identify growth opportunities based on market insights.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
    • Self-motivated with a passion for sales and customer service.
    • Basic knowledge of asphalt and paving services (training provided).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

    Physical Requirements: (Frequency may vary based on the role)

    • Remain stationary or move to accomplish tasks.
    • Adjust, move, and lift objects.
    • Communicate effectively with others.
    • Perform duties at close and distant ranges.
    • Repeat motions that include wrists, hands, and fingers.
    • Operate machinery, vehicles, or heavy equipment.
    • Possess the ability to travel regionally or nationally.

    Physical Demands: (Dependent on the position)

    • Sedentary, light, medium, or heavy work.

    Working Conditions:

    • Varied conditions including low/high temperatures, outdoor elements, noisy environments, hazardous conditions, shift work, and potential overtime.
