    epic reporting specialist - Philadelphia, United States - Temple University

    Description


    Responsible for the development and implementation of efficient clinical reporting; supporting application software; provides assistances in the overall development, implementation and maintenance of the various information and decision support systems.

    Recommends departmental policies; defines and implements strategies for projects or workgroup; and provides regular input into strategies for larger workgroup.

    May include projects; evaluation, training, and technical consulting services for faculty and staff.

    Education

    Bachelor's Degree :
    in MIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field / clinical specialty (Required)
    Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

    Experience
    Experience with SQL Query and script writing (Preferred)
    Experience in an acute care setting (Preferred)
    Experience with report writing and in relational database reporting (Preferred)
    General Experience with Epic Clarity and reporting workbench, with knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools. (Preferred)

    License/Certifications
    EC - Epic Certification (Preferred)
