Responsibilities:

The Project Specialist will provide a high level of Administrative support to the Chief Medical Office.

Serve as primary Project Specialist for the Directors who report to the Chief Medical Officer completing all projects and assignments as requested.

Schedules and coordinates internal and external appointments and meetings that are related to specific related projects. Complies and distributes project meeting materials under the direction of the Director specific to the selected project.

Records minutes according to established procedure and acts as custodian for all records and reports specific to the selected project.

Uses discretion, judgment, and handles duties maintaining confidentiality for all projects.


This Project Specialist will:
- provide a high level of administrative support to the Lab Administrative Director & the MLS Program Director;
- complete all projects and assignments as requested;
- schedule and coordinate internal and external appointments, events, and meetings as related to the MLS Program, Lab projects and responsibilities;
- compile, distribute, and collect project meeting materials under the direction of the Directors specific to each project or assignment;
- record minutes according to established procedure;
- act as a custodian for all records and reports;
- use discretion and good judgment while working on all projects, and maintain confidentiality;
- perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • OR
  • GED
  • OR
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education. Preferred colleg level courses or degree
