    The Chicken Shack is a quick-service restaurant serving chicken wings & fingers, burgers, chili, and sides in a low-key space.

    We're looking for amazing team members at our newest location near Trolley Square in Salt Lake City.


    Cashier Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Communicates incoming orders with the cooks.
    • Prepares plates and/or togo packaging for orders as needed.
    • Ensure each station has the adequate amount of all needed condiments, containers, side dishes, etc. and restock as needed.
    • Assemble and deliver completed orders to guests in the dining room.
    • Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal communication skills.
    • Basic understanding of or ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
    • Basic understanding of or ability to learn foodhandling techniques.
    • Ability to work efficiently and quickly.
    • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
    • Ability to maintain personal cleanliness.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

    Pay:
    $ $14.00 per hour plus tips.
