Rachelle Elbert

Thank you for viewing my resume and considering me to be a part of the REI team. A little about me, I moved to UT from WI in 2011 for school where I studied musical theater. During school and after graduation I worked in a variety of retail and food service industry jobs before turning to the fitness and warehouse industries where I worked in operations management. After recognizing that my life goals did not align with the corporate lifestyle, I quit to be a ski bum and have been enjoying most of my days this winter on the mountain. I'm an avid hot yogi and hiker, and am excited to dip my toes into backpacking and touring this year. During the summer I'm outside somewhere in the forest, and biking most evenings. I am looking for a positive environment and team that supports my passion for the outdoors, as well as some discounts on the gear (because we all know how it adds up here when you have ten outdoor hobbies). I love people and am excited to hear about their goals and aspirations. In retail, especially in the outdoor scope, making connections and discovering what people want to do and achieve is the first thing on my to do list when helping them find a product that fits them best. I have much to learn about gear, and believe that the REI team is a great place to start. Thank you!
